Belly Blessings

Belly blessing  is called to the henna applied on the expecting moms. Traditionally Henna has been used in areas of the Middle East and India as a way to bless a mother near the end of her pregnancy and to protect the baby from the evil eye.   Despite the cultural meanings surrounding Henna, this type of body  art is a great way to celebrate and honor a pregnancy while pampering the mother-to-be. here a link to some belly blessings: https://www.google.com/search?q=henna+on+pregnant+women+photos&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=CsPWUtGGEoblsATcvIG4Dw&ved=0CCsQsAQ&biw=1366&bih=666

Henna

Dear Henna Lovers, I hope you are having a fantastic time, here in US is very cold and it is not The season for henna. So today i do not have a new photo but i would like to tell you that: NATURAL HENNA IS NEVER BLACK, that premade cones sold in stores can have chemicals, nothing is  better than to buy henna powder and make your own mix or to buy henna cones from trusted suppliers. Natural henna takes 24-72 hours to reach peak color and if you take proper care can stay up to 3 weeks . Stains varies each skin is different, it is believed that happy people get the darkest stains, and that if you are stressed or having some hormonal changes like when you are expecting the stains can be very light. Palms and soles normally get the darkest colors. Nails stains stay longer. Other parts of the body stains brown - light brown. Back of the hands dark brown. For natural henna it is important that you keep the henna paste on you for at least 4 hours. Keeping it moist with lemon sugar
